Metal Fabrication Overview
Our combined 458,000 square feet of precision sheet metal manufacturing is strategically located in Wisconsin and Mexico with mirrored capabilities and systems between sites to provide our customers with the flexibility, scalability, speed, and technical expertise required to quickly introduce new products into the market.
Tenere has been a metal fabrication company for over 70 years making sheet metal parts, components, and assemblies. Our decades of experience allow us to provide solutions to our customers' most difficult challenges. We become an extension of our customers' teams from prototype and NPI into production, mechanical assembly, integration, and testing to mitigate any potential design issues and costs.
Tenere provides custom mechanical solutions for some of the world’s largest companies that connect our world through technology. Industries include Cloud Infrastructure, Network Architecture, Fiber Optics, and Renewable Energy
HOW IT WORKS
There are two main sheet metal manufacturing processes: soft tooling and hard tooling. Soft tooling uses metal fabrication processes including laser cutting, turrets, and brake presses to form parts and components through cutting, punching, and bending. Hard tooling, or sheet metal stamping, feeds coiled sheet metal into a stamping press where a steel die forms the metal in one or more stages.
